We don’t run programs. We lift them up.
The Dwyer Coalition doesn’t deliver direct services—we build the systems that connect, support, and strengthen the ones that do. Our work creates statewide and national bridges between peer specialists, families, program leaders, and advocates.

Here’s how we put our mission to work:
🔹 Peer Enrichment & Retreat Sponsorships
We sponsor Veterans, family members, and peer leaders to attend statewide gatherings, trainings, and healing retreats—creating space for connection, rest, and reflection.
“You made it possible for me to be in a room where people truly understood me. That alone changed everything.”

🔹 Military-Connected Youth Scholarships
Our scholarship program honors military-connected youth—children of Active Duty, Guard, and Reserve members—by recognizing their service to others, not just academic achievement.
💡 One boy and one girl per branch. Service-driven. Statewide.

🔹 Family & Caregiver Engagement
We believe families are part of the reintegration journey. That’s why we build platforms and partnerships to ensure caregivers, spouses, and loved ones are part of the conversation—not an afterthought.

🔹 Statewide Coordination & Support
We host monthly calls, facilitate partnerships, and connect all 62 Dwyer programs with tools, resources, and each other. What happens in one county can inform and inspire another.

🔹 Advocacy & Policy Collaboration
We elevate community voices to influence Veteran policy at the state and national levels. From redefining “Veteran” to protecting peer support funding, our advocacy reflects the needs of real people—not systems.

🔹 Webinars, Conferences & Special Events
We coordinate online events, statewide summits, and informational sessions to foster connection, celebrate innovation, and equip our network with the tools to lead.

🔹 Economic & Needs Assessments
We’re preparing to launch research that reflects the real economic impact and support gaps in Veteran communities—statewide and nationally. This work ensures programs and funders have the data they need to make a difference.
